Looks to me like a "Guard N' Stuff" storage box! Probably made by one of the corps members dad! Maybe it is the place where the Cooper Bros slept during the corps trips??

There was nothing in the box. It was used to carry the flag poles and some flags. They used it as a center piece for this photo...Rick Tracey
