Corps: 330th Royal Canadian Air Cadet Trumpet Band of Danforth Tech, Danforth Crusaders, Toronto Optimists
September 29, 1937 – December 29, 2022
Ken was a founding member of the Toronto Optimists. He had marched with the Danforth Crusaders before joining the Optimists in 1957.
Ken played Baritone with the corps from 1958 through 1960. He passed away in Mexico where he had been living. Unfortunately we have not been able to find a photo of Ken in his Toronto Optimists uniform; however, he is somewhere in the photo below.
By the way, Ken supplied us with some excellent video footage of both the 1959 Nationals in Galt as well as the Seniors portion of the 1960 Nationals in Hamilton.
