This must be 1967. Mellos replaced French Horns, and Alan was gone to Boston in 1968
|

This shot was part of the roll for the 1968 Grey Cup. One shot shows 1967 on the bass drum while another photo shows horizontal bass drums which were not used in 1967. I remember John McAlpine playing for Boston but not Alan. I think that the mellos were first used in 1969 (Rick Shearer, Bob Burman and Brian Byrne).
